SHOWCASE AWARD WINNER: CAREERS CONFERENCE 2005 -
Developing Careers, Changing Lives
The annual Careers Conference, sponsored by the Center on Education and Work at UW-Madison, is designed to serve all practitioners concerned with career development and education for work. Each year, a limited number of presentations are recognized at the Careers Conference as special Showcase Programs.
At the 2005 Careers Conference, Critical Choices was one of seven programs recognized for demonstrating innovative programming or exemplary career development practices.
To win this award, programs must meet the following requirements:
- Have been operational for a minimum of 3 years, and are currently operational.
- Serve a broad-based population.
- Have demonstrated measurable success with designated populations.
- Use a developmental guidance framework.
